How much does an ARK: Survival Evolved server cost?
OXY.Games ASE plans start at €6.40/mo for a 4 GB Boost plan and go up to €20.48/mo for a 16 GB Pro 16 plan. Most 3–4 friend groups pick Surge (6 GB, €9.60/mo) or Blaze (8 GB, €12.80/mo). First month gets 20% off automatically at checkout.
Is ARK: Survival Evolved crossplay between PC, Xbox and PlayStation?
Partial. PC (Steam / Epic) and Xbox play together via Xbox Live or dedicated-server crossplay. PlayStation players are isolated — Wildcard never enabled PS crossplay for ASE. Nintendo Switch is also isolated. If your group is mixed, either everyone plays PC/Xbox or you run two servers.
How much RAM does an ARK: Survival Evolved server need?
Per official ARK docs: most ASE maps need 3–5 GB baseline. The Island 3.5–4.5 GB, Ragnarok and Fjordur 4–5 GB, everything else 3–4 GB. Add ~1 GB per 8 connected players and 1–4 GB for mods. Practical answer: 6 GB (Surge) covers most friend groups; 8 GB (Blaze) is the sweet spot with mods.
Can I run mods on an OXY.Games ARK server?
Yes. ARK: Survival Evolved uses Steam Workshop for mods — one-click install from the Pterodactyl panel. Popular picks: Structures Plus, Awesome SpyGlass, Automated Ark, Super Structures, Kraken's Better Dinos. Manual uploads work too. Bigger mod packs benefit from at least Surge (6 GB) or Blaze (8 GB).
Which maps are supported?
All 12 official ASE maps: The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, Ragnarok, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Fjordur, The Center, Genesis Part 1, Genesis Part 2, and Lost Island. Switch between them from the panel in one click.
Can I run a cluster (multiple maps linked)?
Yes — cluster setup is standard for ASE. Link 2, 3, or 5+ maps, and players carry character, dinos, and items between them. RAM stacks per map. Contact support after ordering and we'll walk you through the cluster ID + shared directory setup.
Do I have to use the official ARK: Survival Evolved host?
No — plenty of independent hosts run ASE. The official partner host doesn't have a monopoly. OXY.Games is EU-based (Netherlands), takes iDEAL and Bancontact, and offers a 3-day trial without a card.
Can I host my own ARK: Survival Evolved server?
