Simple Steps to Disable EAC
Turning off Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) on your Rust server is like flipping a switch to enter a more relaxed gaming zone. Here’s the straightforward way to do it:
Stop Your Server
First things first, stop your server. This is like taking a game break before making any changes.
Access File Manager
Next, head to the File Manager in your game control panel. Think of it as opening the folder where all your game's secrets are kept.
Find the right file
In the File Manager, go to the server/rust/cfg folder. Here, you're looking for a file named "serverauto.cfg". It's like finding the right tool in your toolbox.
Make the changes
Open the "serverauto.cfg" file and add these lines (or change them if they're already there):
server.secure "0"
server.encryption "0"
server.eac "0"
It's as easy as changing settings on your phone.
Save and restart
Hit the save button and then start your server again. Now, your server is like a private club where EAC isn't needed.
Just remember, turning off EAC means your server won't show up in the game's main server list. It's like having a private party that's not advertised.
